George has practiced as an attorney in Goochland County since 1977. He has worked on a broad range of cases during those years and has appeared in courts in more than thirteen counties within the Commonwealth.
While he was in law school, he helped pay his way by working as a police officer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This gives George an unusual insight into the practices and procedures police officers must follow during an arrest. As a defense attorney, this background and understanding may prove invaluable to your case.
In addition, George served as a commissioner in chancery for the Goochland County Circuit Court. In this role he presided over divorce cases, real estate partition suits, debtors' interrogatories, and the sale of property for taxes.
He remains highly active in the community and is often found attending Goochland County board meetings. George has many hobbies and is known to spend a great deal of time working in his yard and tending his vegetable garden. If you come by the office in the late summer, don't be surprised if he gives you a zucchini or two to take home with you!
